THE ROLE:
To produce dishes consistently to perfection according to company specifications. To support the Head Chef in every aspect of the day to day running of the kitchen, and to run the kitchen effectively in the Head Chefs absence. To work quickly and efficiently, producing food in high volumes, which is repeated daily, requiring high energy, highly methodical organisational skills and attention to detail.
SALES & EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE:
- Enthusiastic chef
- Attention to detail in order to deliver consistency across all dishes
- Committed to driving high standards
- Highly organised and thrives being part of a team
- Experience of menu costing and compilation is advantageous
- Experience in rota management to maximise kitchen efficiency is advantageous
- Positive outlook with a good degree of energy, resilience, and a flexible attitude
- Previous experience in a quality, high volume business
- Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate
- Full driving licence would be advantageous.
