THE ROLE:

To take a proactive approach to ensuring all related properties are well maintained.  The person in this role will be well organised, pride themselves in high standards and attention to detail and have a 'can-do' attitude.  This is a supporting role to the venues and related properties, therefore the person in this role must have a good working relationship with colleagues and be able to work as part of a large team.  The nature of this role means that a high degree of flexibility around working days and times may be required. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Liaise with maintenance manager to agree and prioritise tasks for the week ahead
• Carry out any maintenance tasks as directed using time effectively to complete the tasks
• Liaise with venue managers regarding any issues
• Communicate progress of priorities to all relevant people in a friendly manner, eg maintenance team, venue manager
• Be able to work under pressure
• Work alongside contractors when required to ensure jobs are completed to deadlines set
• Carry out morning maintenance duties as required
• Assist the secure transfer of monies/floats from venues to HQ
• Work on own initiative and be able to make an investigation into/check faults
• Support with Christmas decorations
• Assist any other maintenance person if and when required
• Assist with outdoor functions when required
• Project work
• Health and Safety – ensure you comply with Health & Safety procedures at all times
