Mastering the Art
Here at Buzzworks, we are committed to providing exceptional training and development opportunities for our team and after a busy couple of months, we’re very excited to share what the team have been getting up to so far this year…
Our coffee masterclass with Andrea from Caffè Carraro was a real highlight. Andrea flew all the way from Italy to share his expertise with our team, and we learned so much about mastering the art of espresso and milk textures.
We also had an incredible Interactive Chocolate Academy session with Mark from Callebaut. Mark travelled from London to inspire our culinary team, and we were blown away by the creativity and skill on display.
Our Moet Chandon and Veuve Clicquot tasting session with Richie from LVMH was an absolute treat. We were able to sample some of the finest champagne on the market and learn about the history and production process behind these iconic brands.
Our visit to Blackthorn Scottish Sea Salt was also fascinating, as we learned all about the sustainable graduation process. It was a fantastic opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of their 100% west coast sea water salt and appreciate the hard work taken to perfect their craft.
We also had an amazing training session with Executive Head Chef, Laurent, who introduced our brand new, authentically Italian Pizza bases to Lido Troon. Our Head Chefs across the business had the chance to learn from the best, taking their pizza-making skills to the next level.
Chef Trainer Neil has been hosting regular masterclasses on a range of topics, such as Monkfish, Venison and Lamb to name only a few. These hands-on sessions encourage our team to refine their skills and expand their culinary knowledge.
Last but not least, we’re incredibly proud of our Company Buyer, Pamela, who completed her 2 year, level 6 SVQ3 Procurement qualification in a record-breaking 9 months. Her dedication and hard work are a true inspiration to us all.
